I honestly just do whatever I want. sometimes it works, ok most of the time it works
There is no doubt that the list of top artists who have collaborated with you is admirable, how important is it for you to be involved and work collaboratively with these artists?Sometimes you don’t even meet them and you just send a song and they send back a verse. every time is different. i’ve been lucky to work with some amazing artists
From all the singles you’ve released so far, which one still makes you excited every time you hear it?
i don’t think any of my singles make me feel excited anymore. I’m just ready to drop some new music
This is without a doubt amazing and admirable, you have become the youngest artist in the Top Billboard Hot 100. How much does it stress you out and oblige you to such a status?
Didn’t really stress me out. you are just in the moment looking at what’s the next song and next project. I don’t really have time to get stressed out but was a really cool thing to accomplish for sure
The reviews praise your performances and the fans in the audience seem to never stop singing and dancing, how did the COVID year go without all the live performances and closeness to the audience
it’s been a weird year. I love performing and missed it this year. going to get back on the road soon though. will be fun, there’s nothing like doing huge shows. It’s a crazy feeling.

How did COVID change you as a musician and what did you learn about yourself during that time?
It gave me more time to figure out what i want to say and what I want to sound like for my next project
Without a doubt you are very creative, how involved are you in the whole process of creating the music videos and production of your songs?
very involved. I love coming up with ideas for videos and then seeing them happen. As far as production i don’t produce but I work with producers who find a type of beat for what I’m trying to do.
What are the things that inspire you when you write new songs?
depends what’s going on that day. I could be in my feelings or just feel like talking shit or have a specific idea. It just depends when i get to the studio what’s going on with me
