Belly releases his new album “See You Next Wednesday” with a new single “Die for it” featuring Nas and THE WEEKND
The album title pays homage to acclaimed movie director John Landis, who often incorporates the ‘see you next Wednesday’ phrase in his fictional works. In celebration, Belly had a star studded album release event at Tao LA alongside The Weeknd, Young Thug, Ty Dolla $ign, Gunna, London on da Track and more. He also performed “Flowers” last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The video shows a post apocalyptic cityscape as Belly reminisces on his tenacity and determination that brought him to where he is today. Before this, Belly dropped “Zero Love”, produced by himself, “Money On The Table,” which has over 2.3M streams, and “IYKYK,”.
His recent drop “Better Believe” went #1 mostadded at Urban radio and garnered 35M+ global audio streams and 15M+ video views. In 2020, Belly made history when he co-wrote The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” which just broke the all-time record for longest charting song in Billboard Hot 100 history at 88 weeks. His total streams as an artist have reached 1 billion and combined as a songwriter/composer hit 6 billion.
