Barbara Pravi releases debut album “ON N’ENFERME PAS LES OISEAUX ” alongside an official video for “Saute”
After graduating from school thanks to the help of a literature teacher, she signs up to study law at the Paris Sorbonne University, however with no definite plan in mind. Two years later, she decides to drop her studies to follow a path that truly inspires and drives her: music.
As she turned 22, she posted her first video directed with the help of friends. It didn’t take long for her to be spotted by Capitol, and sign her first record contract with the prestigious label.
Barbara releases her first EP ‘Pas Grandir’ in 2017 and lands her first role as an actress in a TV-feature called La Sainte Famille, directed by Marrion Sarraut. Shortly after she is picked by Florent Pagny to open for him 23 nights in a row during his 55 Tour show.
At the end of 2018, she changes her management team to work with Élodie Filleul. In February 2020, she co-produces, writes the lyrics and music for her second EP “Reviens pour l’hiver”.
Ever since Barbara has been invited to speak during the celebration of International Women’s Day on the 8th March. More recently she released her own reinterpretations of “Kids”, “Notes pour trop tard” as well as a new song “Chair”. In 2021, she releases a collection of polyphonic prayers and takes part in the “Eurovision you decide” contest with the song “Voilà”. She is voted the winner and is selected to represent France in the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest.
