Rising pop star Amber van Day Releases New Magnificent Remix for Her Single “Kids in the Corner” by Goodboys
Amber single ‘Kids In The Corner’ is an power pop anthem about self-love, human diversity and vulnerability, which saw the original track selected for the epic opening scene of the recent Netflix show “Fate: The Winx Saga”.
With over 17 million monthly Spotify listeners under their belt Goodboys have topped the charts together with the likes of Meduza in recent years. Their hit single “Piece Of My Heart”, led the Goodboys to a Grammy nomination and an incredible 3.4 Billion streams, the duo also delivered a mega-hit with their successor track “Lose Control”.
The track was searched over 220,000 times via Shazam, shooting to #17 on the global Shazam chart including reaching #25 in the UK.

The song is about breaking with labels and not being pressured by unrealistic expectations. Even though society seems more connected than ever, I know the world can feel very lonely, and KITC is about finding the people who can help you to be as authentic as possible. When my co-writers and I wrote the song, it felt like we were working on a special and very important topic. Feeling judged and misunderstood can keep people from talking about the things that would otherwise bring us closer together. “
As a teenager she was obsessed with bands and artists like Natasha Bedingfield, Blink 182, Outkast and Avril Lavigne, but her sister and mother also introduced her to the music of the Spice Girls, Luther Vandross and Womack & Womack.
