Tell us about your single ‘Deja De Hablar’, how was the work on it, who were the people who contributed to the single, and what is the story behind it?
Deja de hablar !!! Ahhh one of my favorites. I wrote the song along Aj Jannusi and Ten Towns. I had a vision about the way I wanted to structure the song and visually I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I was going through a breakup where my ex kept coming back saying he loved me Bla Bla Bla but he didn’t want to get back together so the song was inspired by the true story of us.
After your breakthrough into the music industry, do you remember the moment you realized you were a rising star in the field
I’ve had a few moments where I’ve felt extremely achieved with everything I’ve done but I must say a big moment was when I got to perform with Pitbull, Lil Jon, and John Travolta at Premios Lo Nuestro a few months ago.
Who is the next artist you would like to collaborate with
Definitely Ozuna or Bad bunny but I also love Rauw Alejandro and Lenny Tavarez
Favorite moment from your career?
Performing for 40,000 people in Armenia and getting my first number one on radio airplay with my song SUBELO feat a Pitbull
Who were the people who influenced you the most from whom you were inspired?
MICHAEL JACKSON & JANET JACKSON
What other things do you do besides making music
I actually wear many hats hahaha. I’ve always been a businesswoman and from a very young age I started my own jewelry line that now sells in major department stores. I also love developing young artists and doing a lot of charity work, especially for orphans.
What excites you most about being a Singer and performing around the world?
To be able to share my story and Inspire females who have the same dreams as me and think it’s impossible to make them come true
What are your goals for the future?
Changing the mentality of many in the way they see females artists and have a voice that can move and inspire people.
Do you think the music industry that has suffered tremendous damage by eliminating festivals, closed clubs, and of course the loss of livelihood to musicians will change the face of the music industry we know?
As a new artist is devastating because I can’t share my energy with others which to me is the most important to be able to connect with an audience. But at the same time, this has been a lesson learned for many and this will make the world a better place. For us artists, we are lucky to have all the social media platforms that keep allowing us to share our emotions through our music. I have more releases now than before and I’m excited to grow with my audience in ways we never thought we could.
