Where are you from? Brooke Evers, the girl next door originally from the Gold Coast, Australia that now currently lives in Los Angeles with her now Husband, Matt Stafford from the Stafford Brothers. Loves a party but loves fitness!
When did you start making music? My DJ and Producing adventure all started in my little studio apartment five years ago. I was taught by an awesome DJ, TARAS who lives in Sydney. He taught me a lot about putting together mashups and edits then I moved onto making beats….
How do you describe your music? It’s taken years to really work out what I love when I come to my own music. Everything comes in waves. One minute I’m on this commercial, the big vocal track then I go tribal, afro vibe. Honestly, it’s all to do with how I’m feeling and what music is inspiring at the time. Diplo, Tujamo, Damien N Drix, Two Loud, Moska are all DJ’s I love and use as inspiration.
Favorite moment from your career? Recently I performed in a city called Pune in India. It really changed me in a way I never thought would. I DJ’d in front of over 25,000 people and the energy was so intense. I really loved India so hopefully, I can visit again soon.
What is your producing software?? When I’m producing my own stuff I use Ableton.
What other things do you do besides making music? Where do I start…..I’ve always been a really sporty kid. Fitness is still a massive part of my life. I currently own a number of F45 studios in California so that takes up a lot of energy.
What is your favorite track of all time? All the small things – Blink 182

What is your best-producing tip? Get up early and smash a workout, Drink 5 liters of coffee and then get in the studio! You’ll be flying
What are your upcoming gigs? I’m in Australia right now. This weekend I’m back at my favorite club in the world “HOME” in Sydney. We have a choreographed show that we do and it’s so awesome. Then Sunday I’m in Brisbane at the Stock Exchange.
What are your goals for the future? I’m all about short term goals at the moment. I really want to work on some European shows as that’s a territory I haven’t really focused on. I also want to work with some awesome vocalists I’ve been following for a while.
What advice can you give for the young music producers/DJs
Work really hard. Don’t compare yourself to others all the time and sit on social media wasting time. This can be a massive distraction. Focus on your brand, what you really think your vibe is and what music really turns you on and create something that fits you
