ABISHA says; ‘Numb is such a special and important track to me, and it’s an honour to have Jess Bays’ spin on it for the remix! She has given the song a whole new dimension and created an amazing extension of the original track. Jess’ remix moves Numb away from being quite so deep and heavy and gives it a sense of light and optimism, which I love! ‘
Jess Bays adds; ‘It’s crazy how music always seems to mirror how I feel & as soon as I heard the lyrics behind Abisha’s Numb I knew it was something I wanted to work on! Raw, emotional & honest! I knew it needed something like a sultry bass line to really bring the meaning to the forefront for the dance floor! I’m super proud of this one. It’s stripped back, open & deep!’
The track was created with the hope of empowering its listeners to get through the lowest moments.
