Rising electronic music star LUM!X reveals new club remix for his single ‘Annie Are You Ok’ with Nick Strand and Mio
With his huge 2019 hit ‘Monster’ and last year’s gem ‘The Passenger (LaLaLa)’ (together with D.T.E and Eiffel 65’s Gabry Ponte), LUMI!X is now renowned for his trademark dance vibes, strong hooks and melodic approach.
Just listen to his version of Lucas & Steve’s 2019 hit record ‘Perfect’, a brilliant song that reached new heights (and millions of streams) when LUM!X added his own productional skills. Same goes for his remix of Robin Schulz’ single ‘In Your Eyes’ last year – there’s simply a spark of fresh energy when LUM!X starts working a tune.
LUM!X has used these ingredients to dive even deeper onto the club floor, laying more emphasis on the dance elements of the original song. With a pounding groove as its basis, this remix lets the vocals get more punchy and go over the top, as the producer places them in a whirlwind of pitches and effects, working his way to a more bass heavy drop.
‘Annie Are You Ok’ definitely had a dance appeal in its original shape, but LUM!X has now gone all-in for a much rawer, raving remix – it’s gonna do wonders as one of this year’s most striking DJ weapons.
LUM!X quote: “Spinnin’ pitched the project from Nic Strand and Mio and I immediately fell in love with the song. Its catchy melodies and vocal chops also perfectly fitted my style, so I decided to put another twist on our track that is less radio and more for the clubs once they open up again.”
