Jason Ross & Seven Lions team up on their newest piece “Known You Before” with Emilie Brandt, a melodic bass masterpiece, out now on Ophelia Records. “Known You Before” embodies each of the producer’s euphonious sounds that compliment perfectly with Emilie Brandt’s heartfelt lyrics & vocals.
Jason Ross returns on Ophelia with “Known You Before”, the third single off his debut studio album 1000 Faces. This is his fourth collaboration with label head and melodic bass stalwart Seven Lions, and their tracks “Higher Love” and “Ocean” have both been massive hits in the trance and bass worlds respectively. The two are fresh off their performances at Dreamstate SoCal where they teased the track and Seven Lions debuted his new psytrance project with Dimibo called Abraxis.
While the track leads with an energizing bass-heavy intro, Emilie Brandt breaks it down with longing and alluring lyrics before the track culminates in an intoxicating blend of driving bass and melancholic chords. With Jason’s debut album to release January 24th and his accompanying 22-city headline tour in February, “Known You Before” will be a mainstay in sets as he continues to pave his way cross-genre as a leader in multiple scenes.
