Alt-pop artist Isabel LaRosa delivers her latest release, “My Girl,” via Slumbo Labs and RCA Records. This dreamy, emotionally charged single blends longing with introspective storytelling, capturing the essence of unattainable love through atmospheric textures and poignant lyricism.
Following her acclaimed debut album Raven, which established LaRosa as a leading voice in alternative pop, “My Girl” acts as a continuation of the narrative—focusing on vulnerability, tension, and the ache of desire. The production is rich in ambient soundscapes, anchored by LaRosa’s breathy and expressive vocals.
Reflecting on the track’s personal depth, Isabel explains: “My Girl is about wanting someone you know you can’t have, but still not being able to let go of the ‘what if.’ It’s about being unafraid to love loudly even if there are consequences. It’s very special to me because it’s a part of my identity that I’ve never shared before.”
