Do you know that moment where you find some really good music and think, ‘this is way beyond its time’? This is another one of those moments. After releasing the first single of his EP in June, also called ‘Rising’, Duskus is back with the full EP, out today on bitbird.
The EP, consisting of four songs that all surprise your ears in their own way, is the translation of the rising feeling Duskus has been experiencing lately, shedding his skin completely and making place for a risen version of himself. Each song holds that never ending progression of emotion, representing both Duskus’ current state of mind, as well as his music progressing to the next level.

Mixing quirky and futuristic yet contagiously catchy sounds with Duskus’ classic emotional vocal chops and familiar electronic sounds, the EP is the result of a new way of making music, Duskus explains: “When working on this EP, a lot of my focus was more into the sound design which is something new to me. I realised that the sound of something can actually evoke emotion, and I wanted to focus as much attention on this as I could.”
Duskus will be celebrating the release of the EP with his fans and the bitbird community during a livestream on July 30th via bitbird’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
