Electronic artist deadmau5 and Canadian alternative singer Lights team up on new song “When The Summer Dies“
The new single highlights Lights pop sensibility set against a fun and playful production from deadmau5. Look for its music video to arrive soon, marking a special milestone in deadmau5’ digital roadmap, as it will be created in Manticore; a virtual gaming experience by his and Richie Hawtin’s new company PIXELYNX.
The track went on to become a highlight in his 2019/20 North American cubev3 tour show where he was joined by Lights at each date to perform it.
deadmau5 will be on tour in support of “When The Summer Dies” and other current singles such as “Hypnocurrency” with REZZ, “Channel 43” with Wolfgang Gartner, “Bridged By A Lightwave” with Kiesza and “Pomegranate” with The Neptunes, as well as material from his extensive catalogue.
He makes a stop in St. Louis tonight for the Grand Opening of The Factory marking his first show in the market in over a decade, followed by dates in Indianapolis, Pontiac, MI, and Atlanta this month and an appearance at Bonnaroo in September. In October he will headline his annual day of the deadmau5 show in Miami and perform two nights at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
