Daya unveils ‘Agnostic’, third single from ‘Til Every Petal Drops’, album out October 10 via ONErpm, Lollapalooza cameo recapped.

Daya returns with ‘Agnostic’, a new single shaped by dark pulse and introspection. The track threads moody alt pop textures through haunting synth layers and brooding bass, pacing its emotion with a slow building tension that never tips into chaos. The result is an atmosphere that feels close and hypnotic, a mirror to the emotional weight running just under the surface.

“It’s about finding your way through the wave of numbness that follows the end of a relationship,” she shares. “Creating it felt like stepping into new territory for me with the production, and vocally, it was one of my favorites to write.”

‘Agnostic’ arrives as the third single from Daya’s newly announced second album, ‘Til Every Petal Drops’, which lands October 10 through ONErpm. It is her first full length release since 2016’s ‘Sit Still, Look Pretty’, and the project places a 4x Platinum, Grammy winning artist in a space of deeper self reflection and sonic exploration. Across the set, Daya traces heartbreak, healing, and growth, presenting a more raw and evolved lens on the moments that shaped her.

Live, the next chapter peeked out last weekend as Daya stepped onstage during Gryffin’s Lollapalooza set at Perry’s for a performance of their collaboration ‘Feel Good’. The surprise appearance lifted the crowd energy and pointed toward a bigger season to come as the album approaches.

This year also brings a milestone. 2025 marks a decade since ‘Hide Away’ introduced Daya at age 16. That single is now certified 4X platinum and has approached 700 million streams. It recently found new life in a viral Alan Walker remix with more than 20 million streams and over 300K social media creates, followed by an alternate version released in April.

With two major DJ collaborations on deck and the album arriving this fall, the stage is set for one of Daya’s most ambitious years yet.
