Following David Guetta latest release “Family“, the EDM Icon is back with a new version for the single with Sofia Reyes and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie
In “Family,” Guetta blends EDM, trap, and alternative music. Reyes sings about the importance of having close friends who are like family. She also translates the feel-good message into Spanish in a new verse on the song. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie adds a hip-hop edge to their global collaboration.
Following Guetta last week collaboration with Bebe Rexha, Ty Dolla $ign, and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, the new version of the song for Latin America, he teams up with Reyes and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. Guetta and Reyes previously collaborated on last year’s hit “Pa’ La Cultura” with Human(X).
Reyes is currently nominated for Best Northern Latin American Artist at the MTV Europe Music Awards. This marks her fourth nomination in the category. She was previously nominated for Best Northern Latin American Artist in 2017, 2018, and 2020. The 2021 MTV Europe Awards will air live from Hungary on Nov. 14.
In September, Sofia teamed up with Mexican-American singer Becky G for the girl power collaboration “Mal De Amores.” The music video has over 24 million views on YouTube. In June, she joined forces with Puerto Rican singer Pedro Capó for “Casualidad.” The music video has over 21 million views on YouTube and more than 23 million views on Facebook.
In April, Reyes collaborated with Grammy-winning DJ Imanbek for the song “Dancing On Dangerous” with Sean Paul. The song has over 67 million streams on Spotify. Earlier this year, Diane Warren enlisted Reyes for “Seaside” with Rita Ora and Reik. Also, pop superstar Sia selected Reyes for the “1+1” Banx & Ranx remix with Puerto Rican artist Yandel.
On Spotify, she has more than one billion streams and on YouTube, she has over one billion views. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has over 15 million streams on Spotify and David Guetta has over 10 billion streams.
