I wrote this song about my personal experience of going out with the sole purpose of trying to distract myself from my feelings for someone, but somehow always making it so much worse. It’s hard to stop thinking about someone you miss when you’re constantly surrounded by happy couples, and it can feel really isolating, which only makes you want that person even more”
