Rising Indie music star Boh Doran Releases New Single ‘Cat’s Cradle’ From Promising EP out in spring
Boh Doran takes center stage with her new single “Cat’s Cradle” (2.26) – an earworm of a song that will pull you in with its swirling guitars, lush soundscape and ethereal analogue production. As adept a storyteller as she is a musician; Doran underscores her prodigious vocal talent with clever, witty lyrics that add a compelling personal narrative to the song.
Boh Doran shares, “As I kid one of my very first records was Alanis Morissette Jagged Little Pill. There was a good amount of the Cranberries, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, Third Eye Blind, Sheryl Crow and basically all the Lillith Fair bands playing at home and in the car,” she explained. “In my later years I have re-visited all this music and really also fell in love with more New Wave music. The Cure, the Smiths, New Order, The Psychadelic Furs, The Cocteau Twins… mix me up some analogue synths and shoegaze guitars and I am in Heaven (pun intended).
The new single ‘Cat’s Cradle’ follows her latest singles ‘Real Christmas’, ‘Superstar’ and ‘on fire‘
Doran continued, “This song is about figuring out how to play the game of life/and social scenes. How do we follow the rules while deep down feeling like an outcast or even an alien on planet earth.“
