Where are you from?
I was born in Dallas, Tx in the USA
When did you start making music?
I began making music at an early age growing up in a musical family. Learning various instruments and always a song in my heart.
How do you describe your music?
My music is a blend of traditional, outlaw and modern country. Lot of energy and vision behind my songs.
Favorite moment from your career?
Many favorite moments’ but the highlight of my career playing with the dukes of hazzard. Took place in Louisiana at the Bo’s extravaganza festival with John Schneider and Tom Wopat.
Who is your biggest musical inspiration?
Biggest musical inspiration the list is long and wide. A few to mention George Strait, Alan Jackson, Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard.
What is your producing software?
Production software is Pro Tools.
What other things do you do besides making music?
Besides making music I enjoy the gun range, hunting, fishing, cooking and camping outdoors.
What is your favorite track of all time?
My favorite track is my new country release, “Gonna Drive.” A real mix of country, rock and blues. Every artist/band will get this tune!!!
What is your best-producing tip?
Best tip for producing is preparation. Make a game plan before you go to the recording studio.
Why did you start making music?
I started making music because it effects humanity in a profound way. There is a freedom in it. A place of no limits when playing or hearing a tune. Creating art that gives purpose in our world.
What are your goals for the future?
Goals for the future range from performing at more live shows to writing more hit songs. A mentor for young artists who have a passion for the music industry.
What advice can you give for young music producers/DJs?
My advice is never stop learning. Stay current with the times. Get involved with zoom calls or a webinar in your field. Network with other professionals. Remember it is not about just reaching goals but who you are becoming in the process!!!
